Lenten Events at St Michael’s Cathedral
- Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper — Tuesday, March 4, 5-7pm. Hosted by the St Michael’s Men.
- Ash Wednesday Imposition of Ashes with Holy Communion – Wednesday, March 5, 7am (said) and 7pm (choral)
- Wednesdays in Lent from Noon to 1pm: “The Priest Is In” — Alongside the Open Church as a space for Peace, Prayer, and Contemplation — Dean David and Pastoral Vicar Rita will set up a couple of ‘conversation booths’ and be present to talk about anything anyone might wish to drop in and talk about as part of their journey in Lent.
- Learning Event in Lent: Learning from the Mystics, with Bishop Lynne McNaughton speaking on St Julian of Norwich – Saturday, March 15, 1:30pm doors open and refreshments available; Session runs from 2pm – 4pm. Tinker Room at the Cathedral.
- Learning Event in Lent: On Medical Assistance in Dying: Questions of Faith and Pastoral Care with Dean David and Pastoral Vicar Rita — Saturday, April 5, 9am-Noon. Tinker Room at the Cathedral.
