Wine and Cheese to follow.
An invitation to gather for the Cathedral’s annual
Christmas Lessons and Carols service
Sunday afternoon, December 17, beginning at 3pm.
(NB: there will be only one service of Christmas Lessons and Carols this year — and this is it!)
This is the traditional “Sunday of Joy” in the midst of the season of Advent – and so it is the perfect day to turn our attention more deliberately to the themes of Christmas and to hear the glad tidings of God’s grace at work in all the world, and especially in and through the birth of the Christ child: Peace to all! Glad tidings! God-with-us: Emmanuel!
Representatives from the Kelowna branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association will be present to participate in the service and to host an information table during the Wine & Cheese to follow. The open offering and freewill donation basket at the reception will go to support the work of the CMHA.
Following Lessons & Carols, please stay to enjoy a Wine & Cheese in the Tinker Room.
