SUMMARY:Strings the Thing Faculty Concert 2024
DESCRIPTION:Don’t miss this year’s exciting faculty concert for Strings the Thing on Thursday, July 18th at 7pm at St. Michael’s Cathedral.\nStrings the Thing is an annual summer strings camp that takes place in the Okanagan, and one of the highlights is the faculty concert which features chamber music by the string teachers and includes some of the more advanced students at the camp.\nThe concert will feature music of Beethoven, Haydn and the celebrated “Mendelssohn Octet”. Also featured will be advanced students at the camp joining with faculty for a performance of the “Serenade for Strings” by Josef Suk.\nDiscount tickets ($20/$10 plus tax & fee) are available online through Eventbrite. Link Here\nRegular priced tickets ($25/$15) are available at the door.\nFor those who wish to make an additional contribution to the camp, thank you for buying the “Camp Supporter” ticket ($50.00)\n
